Sports Dates 2025

Hi school community. Listed below are the dates of sports carnivals and events to mark in your calendar for 2025. These are always great days of fun and participation and we hope to see you at some of these events cheering on our RSSS students and teams. 

Cross Country Carnival: Wed 26 March (Term 1, Week 9) 

District Cross Country (10-12yrs): Tue 6 May (Term 2, Week 3) 

Senior Athletics Carnival (3-6): Wed 18 June (Term 2, Week 9) 

Junior Athletics Carnival (P-2): Thu 19 June (Term 2, Week 9) 

District Athletics (10-12yrs): Wed 6 Aug (Term 3, Week 4)  

Semester 1 Interschool Sport (Soccer & Girls Touch) 

Start: Fri 7 March (Term 1, Week 6).  Finish: Fri 13 June (Term 2, Week 8) 

Semester 2 Interschool Sport (Boys Basketball & Netball) 

Start: Fri 8 August (Term 3, Week 4). Finish: Fri 14 Nov (Term 4, Week 6) 

Click on the link below to view the list of sports and dates for Logan District trials for students between the ages 10-12 years. If your child plays club in a listed sport and is interested in trialling, please have them express their interest to Mr. S to be considered for nomination. Good skills, behaviour and effort in PE are required to be nominated to represent Rochedale South State School at a Logan District Trial.
