P&C Update – A Massive Thank You!

It’s been a very busy couple of months for the P&C team, and we’d love to share some of the amazing things that have been happening in our school community.

We recently held our Democracy Sausage Sizzle on May 3rd, and we’re thrilled to share that we raised a total of $2621.14 to support this year’s school musical. A heartfelt thank you to all our bakers who contributed delicious treats to our visitors, they were loved by all and to all our volunteers who helped on the day, thank you for giving up your weekend.

A massive shoutout to Mr Hogan, who after a full week of work and after-hours musical rehearsals, showed up bright and early at 6:30am on Saturday and powered through the entire day - even packing up in that wild torrential downpour! Now that’s dedication!

We also handed our Easter Raffle to the musical team this year, and they raised $1067.00 - another fantastic result. These funds will help cover props, sets, costumes, and all those little extras that make the show truly magical. A total for the Musical Team of $3688.14, great effort everyone!

Our Mother’s Day Stall and Raffle were also a huge success. Despite a couple of little hiccups (which we sorted quickly), it was a wonderful event. Thank you to all the families who sent their amazing students in with a bit of pocket money – we hope all our mums had a beautiful Mother’s Day! We’re already looking forward to doing it all again next year, with exciting new items.

What’s Coming Up:

Next on the calendar is our Gisler’s Pie Drive. Due to a huge surge in demand for Gisler’s Pies (they’re that good!), delivery will now take place in the first week of Term 3. So yes, you’ll still get your winter tummy warmers - just after the holidays! Orders will close at the end of this term, so keep an eye out for updates. We will let you know when orders on Flexischools open and if there will be a day or 2 for in person EFT payments closer to the end of term.

We’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has donated their time, energy, money, and baked goods so far this year. Your support means the world and makes all the difference.

And we’re not done yet! We’ve still got the sliming of our fearless leaders - our Principal and Deputy Principals - and of course, the much-anticipated pizza party for the Fun Run winners coming up soon. Fun Run prizes have been distributed today.
