P&C Update – A Massive Thank You!

As Term 2 draws to a close, we wanted to take a moment to share a few updates from the P&C.

Firstly, a reminder that our Gisler's Pie Drive has closed! Pies will be delivered in the first week of Term 3, with collection details to be confirmed closer to the date.

Last week was a particularly busy one for our school and the P&C Team, with our stall set up down on the Oval for both Junior and Senior Sports Days. A huge thank you to all the volunteers who braved the cold mornings (especially in the shade!) to help out—and even came back for round two on Thursday. Thank you to our Wednesday and Thursday Stall Volunteer teams (Wednesday) Linda Lind, Bec Brennan, Carolyn Wyszynski, Leo Wyszynski, Laura Wright, Wendy Budd, Amy Wen, Sam Malcolm and (Thursday) Sarah Parnell, Linda Lind, Laura Wright, Amy Wen, Haylee Honan, Carolyn Wyszynski. Bec Brennan is always the over achiever when it comes to baking arriving with delicious home made muffins baked fresh the night before each sports day.

Massive thank you to Alina who took charge of the Tuckshop and her team on both days in the absence of Mel who was on leave. Alina kept bellies full, preparing and serving the preordered Meal Deals and supplying the Stall on the Oval with stock.

Sliming of our Leadership Team – Was a success on Thursday – Thank you to Stacey Wood, Brigette Cannons, Jen Bampton for being our volunteers on the day. It certainly was not a hot day but you were champions for our school, Thank you.

Thank you to our Volunteer ‘slime stick’ refill crew – Stacy Brennan and Amit Prashar for braving the crossfire. We also managed to get Mr Charles and Mr Hogan to assist with the left over slime bucket drop on our leaders.

Under 8’s Day 20th June – Bec Brennan led a popcorn team including Linda Lind, Stacy Brennan and Amy Stieger. There were a few unexpected hiccups at the beginning but the team made 300+ bags of popcorn for our Under 8’s and our C&K Kindy visitors.   

Tuckshop Friday - P&C also supported Alina in the Tuckshop on Friday while Mel was absent - huge thank you to Wendy Budd, Linda Lind, Tegan Lawrence and Carolyn Wyszynski. 

Under 8's Day Friday, we had Bec and team of Volunteers including Linda Lind, Stacy Brennan and Amy Stieger making 300+ bags of popcorn for our under 8's and C&K Kindy visitors. There were a few unexpected hiccups at the beginning but that was not a deterrent for them.

Looking ahead to Term 3, we have more events planned including Gisler's Pie Drive delivery, Ekka Meal Deal, Book Week event, Snack Bar to compliment the Musical Matilda, Father's Day Stall and Raffle and we’re excited to reconnect with our wonderful volunteer community—both familiar faces and new ones!
